The 55th Joint School Science Exhibition Preparation Committee (J.S.S.E.P.C.) is now open for application.✨ Come and join the J.S.S.E.P.C. family!🤩 We organise a large-scale student-based science exhibition and a wide range of associated events. Apply now to strengthen your leadership, communication and organizational skills as well as to gain an extraordinary experience while working with students from different secondary schools in Hong Kong. 👧🏻👦🏻
Eligibility: Current Form 4 or 5 (Year 10 or 11) students from Hong Kong secondary schools
Criteria:
1) Capable of leading, cooperating and communicating with fellow members
2) Possessing exceptional organisational and/or designing skills
3) Responsible and able to devote time and effort into the Committee's work
4) Passionate about science
Application deadline: 17 September 2021
Procedures for application:
1) Download the Information Sheet and Application Form from the link attached below and complete the form
2) Please email the scanned application form to [email protected]
Please note that members will be selected based on the contents of the Application Form. All successful applicants are expected to join the whole course of the Orientation Programme, including a briefing session, an orientation day and 4 sessions of Executive Committee Election.

The 54th Joint School Science Exhibition was successfully held from 3rd August 2021 to 8th August 2021. The Opening Ceremony and the Closing Ceremony were held on 3rd August 2021 and 7th August 2021 respectively. Awards of the 54th Joint School Science Exhibition were presented to the winners and speeches were delivered. We would like to express our utmost gratitude to all participating guests and media.

The 54th Joint School Science Exhibition evokes your curiosity to enjoy, explore and probe into science by bringing you exhibits which may help you strike a balance between work and leisure 💻🚴🏻♀️ or help society maintain a balance between nature and urban development.⛰🏙 What are you waiting for? Come and experience all the brilliant innovations and inspiring experiments!💡

Do you ever look up at the night sky 🌌 and wonder, why is our world the way it is? Science plays a crucial role in our everyday life.🧬 From the moment we wake up and till when we go to sleep, our entirety revolves around science.🌍 During this activity, you, little scientists,👩🏻🔬👨🏻🔬 are going to learn about fascinating scientific knowledge by understanding the principles and theories of the ‘magic’ through exciting games and experiments.🧪🧫 Join our Primary School Science Workshop to discover more about this intriguing world of scientific knowledge!⚗️🧠✨

PRIMARY SCHOOL COLOURING COMPETITION
We are now holding a colouring competition targeted at all primary students in Hong Kong. This competition provides an opportunity for primary school students to express their creativity and passion for science via colouring and drawing. Participants can put colours on or decorate the given sheet to bring out our theme of the year, ‘Balance’. The deadline for submission will be on or before 30th June 2021. 1st GENERAL MEETING
The 1st General Meeting was held on 12 December 2020 on Google Meet. The year theme and theme colour were introduced to all Preparation Committee members, who also voted for the logo, Chinese and English slogan. The four departments were successfully formed during the General Meeting as well.
